Colloquium, Book Lauch For Aregbesola Transition

A colloquium entitled “OGBENI AREGBESOLA IN THE EYE OF HISTORY”, will hold on Monday, November 26, 2018.

The Colloquium, which is the high point of the various transition and inauguration programmes, will be accompanied by book launch.

Lead speaker for the Colloquium is ALHAJI ATIKU BAGUDU, GOVERNOR, KEBBI STATE.

Discussants are: MR. OWEI LAKEMFA, CIVIL RIGHT/LABOUR ACTIVIST

DR PROF MIKE IKHARIALE, VARSITY DON (LASU)

DR. TUNJI OGUNYEMI, VARSITY DON. (OAU)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is the Royal Father of the Day.

The books to be launched are: 1-Osun: Government Unusual (a documentation of programmes, projects and impact under Governor Rauf Aregbesola, 2010-2018), 2- ‘Journey to Justice’ (An account of how Governor Rauf Aregbesola led the long and tortuous struggle that reclaimed Osun, his travails and that of his supporters under the PDP regime).

Also, the Arewa Hall of Fame will at the programme, present an Award of Excellence to Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
The Colloquium is a platform to examine critically, the Osun outlook before Aregbesola, the impact he has made in the last eight years and what the future portends for the state under the in-coming Governor.

It is expedient to state that attendance for the programme which holds on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2018 BY 10AMAT AURORA EVENT CENTRE, RING ROAD, OSOGBO, is strictly by invitation.
