Osun Guber Race: Cleric Urges Politicians To Shun Campaign Of Calumny
The General Overseer, Christ Apostolic Church, Ori-Oke Ibudo Asegun, Osunjela Osun State, Prophet Oluwadamilare Falola popularly known as “Go Deeper” has admonished politicians ahead of 2018 governorship election in the State, to shun campaign of calumny.
Prophet Falola, gave the admonition while speaking on the Fourth (4th) Anniversary of the Church holding on Sunday at the Church Auditorium.
The prophet who called on politicians to take God first, obey Him and do His will in the course of pursuing their political ambition also charged them to be united and snub any act that may lead to political mayhem in their respective constituencies.
According to Prophet Falola, “I want to admonish politicians to play the game according to the constitutional rules and always involve the Almighty God in all their undertaking so that He can tell them the next step to follow”.
” Politicians at all level should also let the interest of the electorates be the number one aspect in their programmes for the people as well as development of the society”.
Politicians must always be law abiding including their faithfulls as there cannot be development in any atmosphere where there is no adequate peace and tranquillity”, The Cleric added.
Prophet Falola who supported the idea of paying government tax and levy by the people said it is for the betterment of the people just as it is an avenue of contributing to the development of the society.
Activities marking the anniversary of the Church which would attract people from all walks of life includes Ordination of Deacons and Deaconesses, prayer session and lecture among others.
