Osun 2018: Adeniji Promises Better Days For State Workers

A leading aspirant in the forthcoming September 22, 2018 governorship election in Osun State under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr. Olajide Adeniji, has vowed to pay sufficient attention to workers welfare.

He also promised to uphold the primary responsibility of government, which is to secure lives and properties as well as the wellbeing of the entire citizenry.

Adeniji stated this while addressing the party leaders in Osogbo at the party secretariat recently, shortly after obtaining his nomination form to jostle for the forthcoming state guber poll.

The erstwhile Chairman Governing Board of Federal Roads Maintainance Agency (FERMA) noted that, the people of the state deserve better life, most especially the workforce who he described as the engine room of the government.

He said,” as a retired civil servant, I know what it takes to move the State forward.”

The aspirant also assured the people of the state of good developmental projects that will have direct impacts on the economy of the state, saying as a seasoned administrator and an accomplished Engineer, he will used his vast experience to fastrack infrastructural developments in the state without unnecessary borrowing.

He also added that, he will uphold the party policies and programmes and implement them to the letters.

Adeniji also averred that, his 5-point agenda tagged “SHARE AGENDA” will be implemented without leaving any stone untouched.

According to him,” SHARE” implies: Security; Housing for All, Agriculture, Rural development, and Education for All.

He however, urged the party leaders and delegates to rally round him and vote for him to become the party’s flag bearer come July 17 primary election.

Meanwhile, the state PDP chairman, Prince ‘Soji Adagunodo said, all is set for the party to conduct free and fair primaries, stressing that a level-playing ground would be created for all the aspirants in the party.

He urged all the aspirants to follow the party guidelines in canvassing for votes and ensure that they proclaim the essence of voting for PDP to the electorates.
