Guber Poll: I Will Use My Wealth Of Experience To Boost Osun economy-Media Expert
As the All Progressive Congress, APC Osun state chapter lifted the ban placed on the political activities, one of the aspirant jostling for the governorship seat in the party, Dr. Samuel Ibiyemi has expressed his resolve to use his wealthy experience in the private sector in boosting the economy of the state, if elected.
Ibiyemi said, he will create vocational centres in each of the local governments and LCDA’s in the state to pave way for enterpreneurship training.
Dr. Ibiyemi who is the publisher of a foremost News paper, Nigerian News Direct stated this while speaking with journalists shortly after the official deceleration of lifting of the ban to open campaigns for all the aspirants contesting on the platform of APC
According to him, his administration will ensure creation of enabling environment for the local and foreign investors in investing bountifully on the solid minerals the state wa endowed with.
He maintained that, within the first 12 months in office, his government will provides single digits interest loans for farmers and graduates who has interest in agriculture and ensured robust patronage of their farm produce by the government which will inverrably returned the state to be the food basket of the nation.
The aspirant noted that, the state need a technocrat that can get things done within a shortest means of time as the governor as this critical time, the quality of which he possesed.
Ibiyemi posited that, workers in the state deserves the best, so his government will focused on stability of workers welfare by prompt payment of their salaries and allowances as well as payment of pension arrears.
He said, youth engagements will be his government’s priority as he will create 40,000 direct jobs and 200.000 indirect jobs with four years of his administration.
He however enjoined the people of the state to vote wisely and vote for economic revamping of the state through him.
