Sallah: Osun AGF Congratulates Muslims, Seeks Support For Oyetola

A sociopolitical group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) Osun state chapter, has felicitated with Muslims in the state on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration, saying that it’s a season of sharing and sacrifice.

The Group in a congratulatory message signed by its Coordinator, Comrade Sikiru Tijani and Secretary, Comrade Yahaya Adeniji and made available to Newsmen on Tuesday in Osogbo.

AGF said the celebration typifies faithful and total submission to the will of Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim who was prepared to offer his son as an act of worship of Allah (SWT) and must be emulated.

The group also used the period to appeal to the people of Osun to pray for peaceful coexistence among the porple of the state and urged them to also come out end masses and cast their vote for the APC standard bearer, Mr Gboyega Oyetola come September 22 gubernatorial election.

They also appealed to the people to shun anything capable of causing crisis before, during and after election.

According to AGF, ” Muslims in the state should be steadfast in their prayers and positively impact on their neighbours and the larger society.

“We want to appeal to Muslim faithful to emulate Prophet Ibrahim in exhibiting patience and faith in all their day-to-day activities.

“We are also using this festive period to urge the people Osun to come out end masses and cast their vote for the APC standard bearer, Mr Gboyega Oyetola in the fast-approaching gubernatorial election so as to continue to enjoy dividend of democracy in the state.
