Salah: Osun Lawmaker Congratulates Muslims

The lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency in the state of Osun Assembly, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye has congratulated all Muslims over celebration of this year’s edition of Eid el Kabir.

Oyintiloye (Obokun APC) made the felicitation in Osogbo, Osun state capital where he described the celebration as a remarkable part of the Islamic religion.
He highlighted that special prayer is needed for Osun State especially as gubernatorial election is drawing close and general election is schedule for next year.
While urging Muslims particularly indigenes and residents of the state to celebrate as stated in the Holy Quran during the season, he urged Muslims to pray for the state during the holy season.
‘We should use this occasion to pray for our state, for Nigeria and the world at large “of course, this is an historical moment in our lives as people and we must write our history well by contributing to the smooth conduct of the process in our individual capabilities.”
The lawmaker who doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Strategy pointed that the inter-religious peace being enjoyed in the state must be sustained.
He said, “It is worthy of celebration but we mustn’t forget the injunctions of the Holy Quran in order to remain guided as we worship Allah.”
The Chairman House Committee on Information, also called for vigilance on the part of the citizens and provide useful information to security agencies to ensure crisis free festival.
