Eid-el-Kabir: Adeoti Congratulates Muslims

The gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the fast-approaching September 22 governorship election in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti has congratulated Muslims in the state and the country at large on this year’s Eid-Kabir.

This was contained in a congratulatory message signed and sent on his behalf by his media aide, Kayode Agbaje and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, the state capital.

According to him, this year’s Eid-Kabir is a special one to all residents and indigenes of the state in view of the fact that it precedes the governorship election holding next month in the state.

Alhaji Adeoti therefore charged all lovers and stakeholders of Osun Project to use the occasion of the festival to pray for peace and a violence-free governorship election in the state.

“As our dear state moves closer to the September 22 governorship election, I want to specially charged all residents and other stakeholders of Osun Project in the state to pray for a violence-free governorship election.

“For it is only in an atmosphere of peace that our state and the country at large can witness any positive growth,” Alhaji Adeoti stated.

The ADP governorship candidate further charged all Nigerians on the need to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice as expressed by Prophet Ibrahim.

“At this point of our nation’s political history, we all need to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice as shown by Prophet Ibrahim in order for the nation to sail through the current ocean of its financial crisis,” he stated further.

He however prayed that the nation Nigeria would overcome its current challenges and become stronger to its rightful place among the comity of nations.

“It is my heart desire that our country Nigeria would overcome its current challenges to become stronger with a view to taking its rightful place among the comity of nations,” Alhaji Adeoti stressed.
