Sallah: Oyetola Rejoices With Muslim Faithful, Preaches Peace

The All Progressives Congress flag bearer for the September 22 gubernatorial election in Osun state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola  has congratulated Muslims faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

Oyetola in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Dayo Fasola and made available to CityMirrorNews on Monday in Osogbo, urged the Muslim faithful to use the  festive period to pray  for peaceful coexistence at all times.

He enjoined Islamic adherents and other Osun indigenes to rededicate themselves to service to humanity and meditate on the season’s lessons of piety, faithfulness, dedication, fortitude, obedience, and sacrifice for the benefit of all mankind.

According to him “I am grateful to God for his mercy in preserving us to see another Eid el Kabir . And I am thankful for the advancement recorded in the state of Osun in the last one year under the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

“I urge us all to continue to uphold the tenets  of both  Islam and Christianity which is peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and understanding of our differences. May God preserve us to witness many more in good health, prosperity and happiness”
