Eid-El-Kabir: Osun Commissioner, Omowaiye Celebrates With Muslims, Distributes Ram, Other Gifts

The Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology in Osun state, Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, as he distributed Sallah gifts to Muslim brothers and sisters in Ilesa West Local government area of the state.

Among gifts distributed were one thousand and two hundred large tubers of yam, numbers of Ram and cow among others.

Distributing the Sallah gifts at the APC general meeting, Ilesa west, Engr Remi Omowaiye said the gusture was to identify with Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-el-kabir.

He appreciated the people of his constituency for the continuous support giving to the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, urging them to continue to canvass for Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the APC governorship candidate for the September 22 guber election.

According to Omowaiye, “We are like messengers to our people, irrespective of the post we are holding in the state of Osun, I thank my people for your supports and perseverance for our party and the government of the day.

“I assure you that our Incoming Governor Alh.Gboyega Oyetola will also continue to do the same for everybody in the state of Osun, So I am using this to greet all our Muslim brothers and sisters that Barka d Salah”
Omowaiye concluded.

Appreciating the Commissioner, one of the APC leader, Mr Ademola Philip, said “What happened today at the meeting is not new to anybody as it is regular expectation of everybody.”

” I will tell you what was announced today about the food items that was given to us by Engr. Omowaiye is what everybody has been expecting because we all know that when it is time for festive period like this, he will surely come home and give us something as nkan odun”

He further prayed for Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye “My prayer for him is that God should always protect him for us, and continue to bless him as he is going places.”
He concluded.

“You will recalled that not quite long, Engr. Omowaiye took time to tour around every ward in Ilesa West where numbers of damaged and abandoned boreholes for about 10 years were identified by him which he promised to bring them back to life for the uses of his people. Today, about 15 of those boreholes have been refurbished and repaired which people are now enjoying the stress free water across the local governments.

One of the APC youth leaders in Ilesa, Comrade Dele Olokoshe thanked Engr. Omowaiye for his usual gesture to the development of youths and progress of the APC Party in Ilesa.
