Osun First Lady Charges Parents To Take Adequate Care Of Their Children

The wife of the Governor of Osun State, Mrs. kafayat Oyetola, has urged parents and guardians to take adequate care of their children and wards.

The first lady gave this charge during 2018 children end of the year party organized by the office of the wife of the Governor in collaboration with Ministry of Women, Children and Social affairs held in the government house, Osogbo.

She also urged parents to give adequate support to the needs of their children which would guide them on the right path of becoming responsible adults and contributing positively to the society.

“Every reasonable growth and development of a society is through sacrifice by the parents, “the first lady explained.

She thereby urged the children to be obedient and work actively with innovative technological ideas that would benefit the State and Nigeria at large.

She also implored the children to distance themselves from social vices which are capable damaging their future and tarnishing the image of their families.

Meanwhile, the first lady has also assured people of the State that all the campaign promises of her husband would be delivered, adding that his government would be peoples’ oriented.

Mrs.Oyetola said this year end of the year party was an historical one, stressing that it was to appreciate God for the victory given to the new administration of the All Progressive Congress in the State.

She expressed that there was need for celebration and gratitude to God despite all challenges the state faced in the outgoing year.
