His words, “there is this guy called Olayemi Adeoye who stock in trade to go to where any vehicle is parked, he has his master key that he use to open any car, he would just go in there, switch on and go away with it. But luck ran against him few weeks ago at Shasha area, Akure when he wanted to steal a jeep that belongs to one Mr. Olanipekun.

“Police quickly arrested him and took him to our office and while interrogating him, he confessed to numerous theft of vehicles that he has his master key that he normally use to steal any vehicle.

“He has once been arrested by the members of anti-kidnapping, not for kidnapping but for stealing sometimes in the past but we were always shocked to always see him anytime we charged him to court and we will still charge him to court on our own part but we will surprise again to see him coming back to the society trying to do what he knows how best to do.

“We want to promise you that this time around we will ensure that he goes to that institution and finish his course there even if he’s going to come back. He has been arrested twice and charged to court in the state”

Other suspects paraded with Adeoye are, Waheed Anifowose, a Vulcanizer at Araromi Igoba, Akure who also specialized in selling all vehicles stolen by Adeoye, the principal suspect and one Ayeni Paul, a tailor.

Joseph, however, noted that the suspects will soon be arraigned in court and sounded a note of warning to criminally minded persons to either turn a new leaf or be made to face the wrath of the law if caught in the state.

Meanwhile, three vehicles including one Toyota Corolla car with registration number SS 719 AAA and two Honda CRV jeeps with Master Key used by the suspect to steal the cars have been recovered from them.
