Former Enyimba Captain, Udoji Dies In Car Accident

Kano Pillars’ defender, Chinedu Udoji has been reported dead.

The former Enyimba captain died Saturday night following a car accident in Kano.

Udoji was Man of the Match in Sunday’s NPFL Week 9 match against his former club Enyimba, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

An official said Udoji was heading back to the Pillars’ club house after he visited his former Enyimba team mates in a hotel, when he was involved in an accident which cost his life.

His death was disclosed by his former club, Enyimba on their twitter page.
“We are distraught at the news of the passing of club legend and former captain, Chinedu Udoji. Our commiserations are with his family at this time”, it read.
