AGF Buries National Coordinator, Solicits Financial Support For Family

The remains of the National Coordinator of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF, Otunba Adeleye Akintola , who reportedly died on 7th November, 2018 in a Lagos hospital will be laid to rest this week
at his hometown, Itaji-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

AGF made this known in a statement issued by the group’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Adeboye Adebayo and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

According to the burial Committee, Akintola ‘s corpse will leave the Lagos hospital where he passed away for a service of song by 3:00pm at Ado-Ekiti and on Thursday, 22nd November, 2018, the body will be conveyed to his hometown for interment.

“The late AGF boss is sadly survived by aged mother, brothers, wife and three lovely & promising children. ”

“Otunba Adeleye Akintola died at an untimely age of 44 in a Lagos hospital where he was rushed to after he suddenly slumped during a meeting of Buhari/Osinbajo campaign committee . ”

Adebayo therefore appealed to all the APC chieftains across the country to assist the family of the late loyal and active member of the party so as to give meaning to the lives of the family of three deceased .

“I am still on behalf of our noble Foundation, reiterating our initial appeal to the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Kayode Fayemi, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and other well meaning Nigerians to please adequately assist us in ensuring a quality life after death for the family who survived the deceased”.

“We also appeal to them to provide sustainable means of livelihood for the wife and his two brothers who are all graduates .

“We also want adequate contributions to the endowment fund for the upkeep and education of the children of the deceased to University level, as we expressed a very deep sense of appreciation to you all for your efforts in saving his life”, the statement said.
