Ooni @ 44: Ogunkanmi Extols Virtues Of The Monarch

Hon. Gbenga Ogunkanmi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ayedire state constituency, Osun State House of Assembly has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on his 44th birthday.

Ogunkanmi in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Osogbo eulogized Oba Ogunwusi on his birthday anniversary.

He said the monarch’s 3 years on the throne of his fathers has brought remarkable impact to the entire dynasty ,illustrated by his contribution to the educational , social and cultural development of the people , both for the people at home and in the diaspora.

The former Executive Secretary, Ayedire Local Government Area extolled the Ooni of Ife’s courage and determination in upholding the values of integrity, hard work , saying Ooni has impacted positively on the lives of thousands of Nigerian youths.

Commending the revered monarch for for his regular counsel to government, institutions and families, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Aregbesola said the present and coming generations would continue to remember Ooni’s efforts at strengthening the unity among the Yoruba race.

Ogunkanmi noted that since the enthronement of Ooni in 2015, Ife people and indeed Yoruba land has witnessed unprecedented peace and development.

Appreciating God for seeing the foremost African monarch through in spite of very many challenges, Ogunkanmi prayed for long life in good health and wisdom for the royal father.
