Strong Ties Group Solicits Support For PDP Ahead Of Sept 22 Guber Election

Members of a sociopolitical group, Strong Ties, a group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have declared that they are strongly behind whoever is picked as the Governorship candidate of their party as the September 22nd Gubernatorial Elections gets closer.

The convener of the group, Adefemi Adeoye told newsmen on tuesday in Osogbo that the “Strong Ties” group is out to see that the people of Osun State get the best man for the job and also gets the best in terms of welfare and social amenities.

“The PDP as a party in Osun State is aware of the sufferings the State Civil servants are going through. We as a group are determined to see this come to an end once we win the september 22nd elections.

“We are aware of the half salaries paid to our diligent and hardworking civil servants, we are aware of the non payment of their leave bonuses and also aware that access to loans is difficult.

“We want to make sure that they get what they deserve and we are also determined to get a reliable, efficient and hardworking person as our flagbearer in this upcoming elections. Adeoye said.

” We have over three thousand members in our group and all have collected their PVC, in readiness for the election. We need a change in Osun State and the “Strong Ties” group will make sure that the suffering of the people are limited and we can only do that by voting out the current administration and bringing in a more vibrant and understanding PDP government. He concluded.
