Eid-El-Fitri : Eschew Greediness, Pray For Our Leaders, Oba Makama Charges Muslims

The Olowu of Owu Kuta, Oba Hammad Makama has admonished Muslim faithful to eschew greediness and pray for Nigerians Leaders regardless of their political affiliation.
In a statement by His Royal Majesty, Oba Makama, also congratulated the Muslims faithful for the successful completion of month-long Ramadan fast.
“Ramadan, he said, is a period that Almighty Allah has ordained to be a time to call for his blessing on every facets of our life. So, it is hightime we needed to call on him for protection and the spirit of love to strive in this nation above all political, ethnical and religion affiliation.”
He said, “I congratulate the Muslim faithful across the country for the successful completion of the 30-days Ramadan fast which I believe that the Almighty Allah has answered the prayers of individuals.
He noted that, “As Muslim faithful across the country is basking in the euphoria of the celebration I want us to imbibe the spirit of patriotism for this country. This is the only way that Nigeria can get out of the mess of insecurity”.
“What will end the killings and menace in our country is the spirit of collective ownership of Nigeria and we should eschew greediness off our mindset.”
Let us all pray for leaders of this country for Allah to guide them in good discretion in leading the country to an enviable state. He added.
