2018: Aregbesola Calls On Osun Residents To Vote For Progress, As O’CDC Organises Endurance Trek

Osun state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has urged the people of the state to turn deaf ear to lies allegedly peddling aroubd by the opposition parties in order not to jeopadise the progress and development in the state.

Aregbesola disclosed this on Saturday, while addressing the people of Osun at the state stadium after the endurance trek organises by Community Development Council (O’CDC)

He advised voters in the state not to listen to political liars as the state prepares for the September 22 gubernatorial election.

According to Aregbesola, it was difficult for the liars to identify the infrastructures built by his administration.

He said that opposition would destroy the good programs that Osun residents have been benefitting from.

Some of the laudable achievements according to Aregbesola are ditribution of school uniform to all the students in the piblic schools, O’meal that feed 1,250,000 pupils monthly since April 12 , Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (O’YES) and O’FISH among others.

He commended the O’CDC for organizing walk to live that will assist people to burn fat and keep fit.

The trek that was organized by Community Development Council (CDC) tagged “Thank You Ogbeni”

The trek that kick off at Government House, Oke-Fia to Olaiya, Isale Osun, Oja Oba, Sabo, Testing ground, Stadium, Orita and Baba Onisekere before every one converged at the stadium.

The Chairman of the O’CDC, Alhaji Abubakar Isa said Osun residents came out for the endurance trek to appreciate the present administration under the watch of Governor Aregbesola for his tremendous achievements in the atra of infrastructural developments across the local government and area councils.

Isa said that his administration has turned Osun to a better place for all residents in the state which has uplifted the state among the comity of states in Nigeria.

He emphasized that development that came to Osun in the last seven and half years has contributed positively to lives of the people in the state.

He added that O’CDC is ready to support any candidate that All Progressives Congress (APC), present to succeed Aregbesola in order to continue the good governance.
