Osun Council Boss, Oloyede Promises ‘Stomach Infrastructure’, Empowerment Programmes

The Chairman, Irepodun South Local Government Development Area, Erin-Osun, Ogbeni Adekunle Oloyede has said that his administration would give priority attention to empowerment.
Oloyede gave the assurance on Tuesday while delivering his acceptance speech after he was elected and sworn in as the Chairman, Irepodun LCDA, Erin-Osun.
“I want to assure our people that our administration will continue with infrastructural facilities, but this time is an era of stomach infrastructure because an hungary man is an angry man. We have a lot of empowerment programmes on ground to be executed very soon”.
The newly elected Councillors of Irepodun LCDA had unanimously and peacefully elected their principal officers among all the Councillors that represent the all the wards that constitute the LCDA.
The event which was Peacefull and orderly was held on Tuesday at the local government Secretariat headquarters, Erin-Osun and was witnessed by traditional rulers, Chiefs, religious leaders, party leaders and members, market men and women, and the local government officials.
Ogbeni Adekunle Oloyede was elected by the Parliamentarians as the Chairman of Irepodun LCDA while Hon. Gbadamosi Dauda was elected as the Vice Chairman.
Other principal officers of the Parliament that were sworn in and took relevant Oath of office include; Hon. Adeniran Kazali, Leader of the House, Hon. Adurolu Isiaka, Deputy Leader and
Hon. Mrs Ashiru Lateefat as Member.
Speaking, the Chairman apart from empowerment and stomach infrastructure programmes also vowed to replicate Aregbesola’s Six-Point Integral Action plan in the council area.
Oloyede however promised to use his new position to provide qualitative education, and restore basic health system, drinkable water among other infrastructural development.
He appreciated Governor Aregbesola for creating a level playing ground and for allowing the people of the LCDA to elect people that would be governing them at the local level.
He therefore, promised to compliment the efforts of Aregbesola in his bid to transform the state to greater heights.
He also appreciated, Barr. Kolapo Alimi, Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, State of Osun and the Elerin of Erin Osun, Oba Yusuf Adekunle Omoloye, Oyagbodun 2 and his council of chiefs for always being his supportive pillar.
