Eid-il-Fitr: Oriolowo Rejoices With Muslims, Urges Them To Continue to Pray For Osun
A leading governorship aspirant of All Progressives Congress, APC in the State of Osun, Engr. ‘Lere Oriolowo has congratulated muslims in the state on the successful completion of this year Ramadan, just as he implored them to stick to the lessons of Ramadan.
Oriolowo in a congratulatory message issued and signed by him, copies of which were made available to newsmen in Osogbo urged muslims to continue to pray for the Nation, particularly State of Osun as it transits from one government to another in a matter of weeks.
He charged Muslims to sustain the virtues of Ramadan by exhibiting love, oneness and peaceful coexistence as characterised by the Holy month.
The Frontline Governorship aspirant also enjoined muslims to see Eid-el-fitri as a season of sober reflection and time to be submissive to Almighty Allah as enshrined in the lessons of the holy month.
He noted that,” Being a good Muslim requires that we follow the examples of Prophet Muhammad (SWA) who was always quick to forgive those that transgressed against him and lived a life of building common understanding among the people.”
He used the medium to urge the people of the state to keep supporting the administration of APC in the state and ensure they vote for the party in the forthcoming election.
