Ekiti Governorship Election: ADP Candidate Promise To Revive Dead Industries, If Elected

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) flagbearer in the upcoming July 14th Ekiti state governorship election, Otunba Segun Adewale, has unveiled seven points agenda for the development of the state if elected as governor, saying that prompt payment of workers salaries and entitlement of pensioners would be his paramount.
He posited that creation of viable vocational centers across the sixteen (16) local government areas of the state would cater for the teeming youths and women with soft loans to take-off and boost acquired skills which would also guarantee them a better future.
Otunba Adewale who polled 16,890 votes out of total votes of 17,600 votes casted at the poll, leaving 710 votes void across the whole sixteen (16) local government areas of the state, was the sole candidate of the party in the election which was monitored by the National Officers of the party and state officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) led by Hajia Maryam Lawal, security agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
The ADP flagbearer added that repositioning of the educational sector in the state will not be undermine, as the state is noted to be a fountain of knowledge, so the sector will be highly equipped and put in proper shape with affordable cost to all.
He maintained further that health sectors in the state are already in comatose and shamble, but promised to upgrade it and build more health facilities in the state in order to improve the health standard of the people.
While lamenting on the dead industries like Ade-Ekiti textile Mills, Ire-Ekiti burnt bricks, Igbemo-Ekiti rice Mills among others, ADP flagbearer promised to revive them in order to boost the state economy.
In his statement after the election, the chairman of the electoral committee, who is also the Vice Chairman of the party in the North West, Alhaji Umar Hassan charged the electorates especially those who have PVCs to vote in the party in the upcoming governorship election for the betterment of the state.
