Stay Back To Defend Your Vote, ADP Candidate, Adeoti Tells Electorate In Osun
As September 22 gubernatorial election draws nearer in Osun state, the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has urged electorate not to be intimidated by the opposition.
Adeoti who spoke at a rally in Ede, the hometown of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, urged the electorates to stay back and defend their votes on the election day.
He vowed that the people of the state would defend their votes, expressing
optimism that he would emerge victorious in the coming gubernatorial election.
Adeoti urged electorates who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card to do so, saying people should resist the imposition of candidate by the ruling party, APC.
Calling on the security agencies to be professional in their conducts, Adeoti assured his supporters that their lives would be protected by the securities.
Adeoti who promised that he would be sworn in on November 27 as the Governor of the state, urged people to go out on September 22 and vote for ADP.
He said, “I will be sworn in on the 27 November as the Governor of this state. When we were taken Rauf Aregbesola around then, we told him that he would be sworn in, and he was sworn in. By the Grace of God, I am going to be sworn in on November 27.
He promised that his administration would ensure payment of workers salary on the 25 of every month, saying he has done it when he was Chairman of Iwo Local Government.
“If you vote for me on September 22, every policies will be rejigged. We will constitute a panel to look into everything and removed those that are not good.
“We won’t do what people will not like. We won’t pocket our party Chairman. I will allow my Chairman to function. Our party Chairman will not be like a Chairman that is not functioning.
He said the present administration has only deceived workers with promotion without telling them when it will be effective, saying “when I become Governor by the grace of God, promotion of workers will be effective from January.
“We will settle workers salary before we embark on any other work. Salary of workers must be paid by 25.
