Oluwo Annual National Leadership Prayer Holds Sunday
The annual national leadership prayer initiated by the Oluwo of Iwo, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 16th September, 2018.
Notable authorities from the presidency, religious scholars, business magnates, opinion leaders, politicians, government agencies, governors, senators, house of representative members, managers of industries and the general public are expected to grace the annual event.
The session was launched last year by Oluwo to conduct a special supplication for divine direction and virile governance doctrine for the country leaders.
In a statement by Oluwo press secretary, Alli Ibraheem notes “In respect of the pledge last year to conduct leadership prayer annually, I hereby invite the general public to the 2018 edition to be held next Sunday 16th September, 2018 at Oluwo palace square in Iwo, Osun State”
“The prayer is politically and religiously neutral. Traditional rulers, various religious leaders will conduct the prayer session. All guests are expected to be on ground by 10:00am prompt”
“Nigeria and Nigerians are not safe should we have bad heads. Prayer for Nigeria is one of the strength of loyalty to the nation. Prayers for leaders are supplications for the country. Let’s support the leadership structure, demonstrate sportsmanship irrespective of our political attachment”
