Osun Court Remands Alleged Motorcycle Snatcher In Prison
A Magistrate’s Court, sitting in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Tuesday, remanded
a 22-year-oldman, Olawuni Alaba, in Ilesa prison, for alleged theft of motorcycle.

Police arraigned Alaba on two-count charge bothering on conspiracy and theft.
The Prosecutor, Sargent Fatoba Temitope told the court that the defendant committed the offence on June 27, at Ota-Efun area, Osogbo.
Temitope said the defendant conspired with others at large to steal a motorcycle with registration number GC 395 EJG belonging to one Muraina Taiwo.
According to prosecutor the motorcycle valued 61,500.
He submitted that the offence contravened Sections 516 and 383(1)and Section 390 (9)(10a) of the Criminal Code cap 34 Vol. 11 Laws of Osun,2003.
The accused who had no legal representation pleaded guilty to the two count.
The Magistrate, Mr Ola Oladoke ordered that the defendant be remanded in Ilesha prison custody and thereby adjourned the case till July 24 for facts when the exhibit would be presented to the court.
