Elders From Opposition Party Also Testify That You Have Tried, Ataoja Tells Aregbesola

The Ataoja of Osogbo, State of Osun, HRM, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, has showered royal blessings and praises on the State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Oba Olanipekun who hosted the Governor on his visit to the Osogbo Federal Constituency, said Aregbesola has changed lives in the State through his several empowerment programmes.

The Monarch also added that other kings in the constituency are grateful to the Governor, stressing that the good administration by the ruling party must continue.

“Whenever I discuss with some elders from the opposition party, they also testify that Aregbesola has tried. This chain must not break, a worthy candidate must be picked to continue the good work.

“I, my Chiefs and the other kings stand with the progressives, we support and stand with Aregbesola. I, personally, will forever stand with Aregbesola. Aregbesola has performed excellently in the State, we pray for a similar character as his successor. ”

In his speech, Aregbesola appreciated the town for always being supportive, urging the residents not to allow evil forces tarnish the good relationship.

Meanwhile, the Governor revealed that the Sukuk and Conventional bond debts would be paid off next year, adding that work is also going on the popular Ola-Iya junction in the State.

This is even as the Governor disclosed that he won’t be living the State after his administration so as to enable him monitor the affairs of the State.

Listing his achievements, Aregbesola added that, “There is no road in Osun we don’t have a plan for. No government has done as much rural roads like our administration. We have done 200 Kilometers of roads in the rural areas, we have also built bridges over rivers that pose threats to our farmers in the rural areas.”
