Baba Sala’s Death Unfortunate, Says Health Minister, Commiserates With Osun Govt, Family Members
The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole has condoled with the governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, government, family members and associates over the demise of the ace comedian and foremost theatre practitioner, Moses Olaiya Adejumo, popularly called “Baba Sala”
Oyewole who described the death of Baba Sala as unfortunate commiserated with the people of Osun and prayed to God to forgive the late comedian of his misdeeds and make paradise his eternal home.
In a release issued by the media office of the Minister, it reads, “The Baba Sala iconic legacy which has spanned well above six decades has brought superlative joy into many homes, redefine our culture and tradition through creative and dramatic stories which transcended the shores and boarders of our dear country, Nigeria thereby portraying the African pride in the global art, such a great man with large heart must be an hero of our time, I mourn Baba Sala”, he wrote.
“My sincere condolences to the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola led government of the state of Osun, both nuclear and extended family members, and associates of the patriarch of the Adejumo dynasty, a great icon whose contribution to the entertainment industry will forever remain indelible in the sands of time, his great artistic works are reflective mirror which shall continue to serve as monuments to students of dramatic arts and history for many years to come, he concluded
