NBCYC Gets New President

The Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, has elected a new President. He is Bro. Ishaku Habbakuk from Nasarawa State in United Baptist Conference.
The new President is taking over from the Acting President, Sis. Ojieh Ochuko who assumed office following the unfortunate demise of the immediate past President, Bro. Francis Iliya Bakut who died in a Abuja hospital on early hours of Monday, June 5, 2018 during the 2018 Youth Week Celebration few hours after addressing Nigerian Baptist Youths from First Baptist Church, Garki Abuja.
The new President would serve till next Annual Session of the body when new set of leaders would be elected as he was elected to complete the tenure of the deceased President.
He has been immediately sworn in and prayed for by the Nigerian Baptist Convention President who also doubles as the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, President, Rev. Dr. Samson ‘Supo Ayokunle.
