Super Kay Rejoices With Timi Of Ede On His 10th Year On Throne, Says His Nobility, Royalty Truly Divine
A gubernatorial aspirant for the upcoming governorship election in Osun State, Dr. Kayode Oduoye has felicitated with the Timi of Ede Land, Oba (Dr.) Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Laminisa 1 on the celebration of his 10th year since ascension of throne of the ancient city of Ede.
Dr. Oduoye, in a congratulatory message signed by him and made available to CityMirrorNews described the monarch as a father to all and whose love and wisdom with which he carry out the affairs of his kingdom confirms that his nobility and royalty is truly defined.
He explained that the fatherly role of the lecturer cum king is appreciated and cherished across the state.
According to the statement, “on behalf of my immediate family and the entire Alubarika family worldwide, I congratulate and celebrate HRH, Oba (Dr.) Muniru Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, the Timi of Ede Land on the occasion of your 10th year Anniversary of ascension to the throne as Timi of Ede.
“May your reign continue to bring prosperity, peace and progressive development to the land of Ede and her environs.”

Oba (Dr.) Muniru Adesola Lawal was born on February 10, 1956 into the Royal and distinguished Muslim Family of Late Pa Karimu Lawani of the Laminisa Ruling House, Pere. And ascends the throne as Timi of Ede Land in the year 2008 to succeed the Late Timi of Ede Land Oba Tijani Oladokun Oyewusi (Agbonron III) who joined the ancestors on August 21, 2007.
