Shocking! Buhari Alters Prayer Mode At FEC Meeting
By Jide Afolabi
President Muhammadu Buhari today altered the mode of prayers at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The president unusually asked two Christian ministers to say the opening prayers.
They were the Ministers of Agriculture and Labour, Audu Ogbeh and Chris Ngige respectively.
After Ogbeh had prayed, Buhari called the Minister of State for Environment Jubril Ibrahim who was absent. The president then asked Ngige to pray.
However, Ngige reminded Buhari that he is also a Christian, but the president still gave him the go-ahead.
This is the first time that Christian-Christian prayer would be said during a given opening prayer at the FEC meeting.
