OMPAN Constitutes Exco In Osun, Urges Members To Uphold Principle Of Objectivity
The Association of online media practitioners of Nigeria, OMPAN, on Thursday launched the fifth chapter in the south west zone of Nigeria in Osun state.

Inaugurating the officers at the NUJ press centre in osogbo to pilot affairs of the association for the next 12months, the deputy national President, SW Zone, Mr. Peter Jones Ailuorio stressed the need for practicing online journalists to embrace the philosophy of balanced reporting.
According to Mr. Ailuorio “the beauty about reporting is that if there are two parties involved in a story you are investigating and writing, ensure that you interview both sides before you publish” adding “by doing so, justice is said to have been done”.
Highlight of the launching ceremony was the swearing in of officers to pilot affairs of the Association. Those sworn in included: 1. Ayobami Agboola-Chairman 2. Toba Adedeji – Vice Chairman 3. Tiamiyu Jare- Secretary 4. Amina Alake- Treasurer 5. Adesoji Omosebi-PRO
