You Erred, Apologise Now Or Else, PDP Slams Omisore

Scores of Stakeholders from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun on Friday expressed dissapointment over what they termed as an unacceptable conduct of Sen. Iyiola Omisore and demanded an unreserved apology within the next 72 hrs.
Mr Tajudeen Adeyemi , former Majority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, on behalf of the EX-PDP political office holders made this known at a press conference held at the Correspondents Chapel, in Osogbo.
It would be recalled that Sen. Iyiola Omisore had reportedly supervised the burning of the Peoples Democratic Party flag, other party symbols by some aggrieved members his camp in his office in Osogbo.
Adeyemi said that Omisore’s actions was the peak of his self-determined war against the PDP, the party of which he has been a major beneficiary.
“Omisore’s action is uncalled for despite being favoured by the PDP during his travails.
“The Senator ‘s action was a self determined war against the PDP which he had been a major beneficiary.
“He had recently approached two different political parties who rejected him due to his political desperation.
“Although, 90 per cent of his hitter -to- supporters, some whom were deceived with phantom empowerment programme vowed to remain in the state PDP under the leadership of Hon. Soji Adagunodo, “he said.
He ,therefore, called on Omisore to tender an unreserved apology within the next 72 hrs or the leadership of the party at all levels would take discplinary action against him.
