You Are A Shameless Liar, Aregbesola Blasts Omisore

The Governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has described a former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation and former Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore as a shameless liar.

The Governor said this Friday, at a program organised by the Progressives E-Group, a platform aimed at promoting programs and policies of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

He alleged that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2014 Governorship election in the state only paid twenty five thousand naira in 2013 as tax and has since failed to file his tax returns.

Omisore had earlier described the proposed 2017 budget estimate of 173 billion naira presented to the State Assembly by the Governor as a “ruse” and unrealistic.

Omisore said that the ambitious budget was unrealistic considering the states total accrued revenues in the previous years.

He alleged that the Governor lacked capacity to raise funds to execute the budget.

Meanwhile, the Governor has scored its administration high owing to his people oriented programs and infrastructural development in the state.
