Just In: President Buhari Appoints Tinubu To Reconcile APC Members

President Muhammadu Buhari has designated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to lead consultations aiming at reconciling dissatisfied members of the party.

This was contained in a State House Press Release signed by Mr. Garba Shehu, a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity today.

The statement reads: “As part of on-going efforts to improve cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts”.

It further read, “The assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the Federation”.

There have been crises within the rank and files of the party especially in key states being controlled by APC.
