Chris Isiguzo, Editor with This Day Newspaper from Enugu Zone, emerged National President of NUJ at the just concluded NUJ election in Abeokuta.

He defeated Waheed Odusile, the outgoing President with 17 votes.

Result as announced by the Returning Officer, Benson Upah….

Chris Isiquzo polled 346. Voted.

Waheed Odusile polled 329 votes

Dele Atunbi polled 101 votes

Abiodun Olalere 56

Usaka polled 30

Jacob Edi polled 16

Otunba Mike Aladenika polled 8 voted.
