Abioye,  in an interview with our correspondent over the weekend  said going by the combination of expertise, and wealth of administrative knowledge, which the state needs to sustain Aregbesola’s legacy,  Oriolowo remains the most qualified.

He maintained  that the “infrastructural revolution ” embarked upon by the Aregbesola’s administration must be carefully  sustained by an individual who is well equipped with technical prowess and administrative savvy.

Abioye opined that for Oriolowo to have served in different capacities as a senior civil servant without a negative record makes him a man with rare integrity and valour.

“Electorate in Osun must get it right and think deeply of the choice in the forthcoming governorship election,  I am convinced the state is in need of an individual like Oriolowo, who have carved a niche for himself in civil and public service.

“No any right thinking person will disagree with the assertion that Aregbesola has change the dynamics of governance in the state,  his legacy of transformation remains unprecedented, hence the need to get a worthy successor for him.

“Without any fear of contradiction,  Oriolowo perfectly meet the description of what is needed in the state to sustain this legacy and move to a greater height,  we must not make mistake.

“We must also disemphasize the issue of politics as the sole determinant of politics,  competence must be our priority not politics,  it is the preference for competence that will take us to our eldorado.

” I believe the performance of this man as the Osun State Project Coordinator of Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP 11) has eloquently narrated his commitment to duty,  developmental drive,  selflessness, and high level of integrity “, Abioye said.

He however advised the ruling APC to create enabling environment for aspirants to showcase their mettle saying such will make the best candidate that will successfully fly the flag of the party to emerge.
