Aregbesola To Swear-In Councilors Tuesday
The 389 councilors elected and returned unopposed on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last January 27, local government election will be sworn-in this coming Tuesday.
A press statement issued and signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the state, Mr Adelani Baderinwa on Sunday said the swearing-in will be performed by Governor Rauf Aregbesola at the Bola Ige’s House Grounds, State Secretariat, Abere.
It would be recalled that 318 councillorship candidate of the APC were returned unopposed while election took place in only 71 wards.
