Pastor Adewole Who Slumped, Died On Pulpit Predicted Dying As God’s General

The Assistant District Pastor of Gospel Faith Mission International (Gofamint),Pastor Samuel Adelabu Adewole  who slumped and died during service in Ibadan has prayed to die as God’s General to enable him see Jesus Christ, a colleague of the deceased, Evangelist A.A.Adebowale has revealed.

Speaking during the wake keep  at Oke Alaafia Assembly Ibadan, Adebowale said that the deceased was absolutely committed to the service of God, adding that he was very passionate to his calling and died in fulfilment of his covenant.

The Evangelist observed that each time the deceased , Samuel Adewole spoke, he would describe himself as God’s General and pledged to die so because he desired seeing Jesus Christ.

“Recently, he dressed to a programme and in his suite, he attached ranks that looked like that of Army General and when I jokingly asked him  he said that he wanted to die as a General.The following day,I heard that he slumped and died on the pulpit after victory month prayer” the Evangelist added.

Adebowale told the congregation and friends as well as relations of the deceased that “we are all strangers on earth and should prepare for death at any time stressing that only Godly life would take us to eternal life with God.

Pastor. J.Hugho who in his tribute disclosed that Adewole and himself were together in  Cross Rivers State for many years, pointed out that they worked for 23 months without pay adding that the deceased made a great sacrifice for God.

He said that he was happy to hear the announcement that the management of the Mission would build a flat for the family of the deceased at Ogunmakin, the new Gospel town apart from other forms of assistance that might might serve as palliative.

In his tribute,the Assistant National Evangelist of the Mission Ezekiel.A.Falade described Adewole as a very loyal Pastor to him,the entire Mission and lover of most members of the church and the community adding that his family should be assisted by all and sundry.

Deaconess Adesola Babalola who said that though She is not a member of the mission ,Eexplained that Pastor Adewole deserved  assistance from most people who know him because of his total commitment to the service of God.

Top ministers of GOFAMINT from the Headquarters and members from various Assemblies outside Ibadan as well as Glory Centre were present to give a befitting  farewell to God’s General,Pastor Adewole who died at age 64.

He was survived by Mrs Rose Adewole, Paul Adekunle Rhoda Oluwaseun, Daniel and Living Oluwagbemiga.
