Osun Decide: Ifon Orolu Embraces Continuity, Drums Support For Oyetola

In preparation for the September 22 gubernatorial election in Osun state, the entire people of Ifon Oroluland have unanimously embraced the continuity of good government of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the governor, Ogbeni Aregbesola as an epitome of democracy and good governance judging from the unprecedented developmental projects  which the state has recorded since Ogbeni came to power in 2010.

Also, it was a carnival-like event on Saturday when a sea of heads , broom wielding members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) trooped out enmasse, singing and dancing to sensitise supporters, sympatizers and electorate to embrace continuity and  cast their votes for the APC candidate,Alh Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for the unprecedented developmental projects to continue.

The party members and supporters marched through all the major roads in Ifon, Orolu local government council and all political office holders from the area both at the state and local government levels participated in the sensitisation rally which lasted for hours.

While speaking, the executive chairman of Orolu local government, Hon Adekunle Benson emphasized that the APC will win the election convincingly as Orolu will be thoroughly delivered to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next gubernatorial election, adding that all the activities of the opposition parties in Osun is like rubbing insult upon injuries.

According to him, “there is no doubt again that the large turnout of our members and supporters has corrected the insinuation that APC members in Orolu have moved to other parties, we are intact, firm and very strong and have fully prepared to win September 22 election convincingly”.

Benson said the action of those that have cross carpeted to other Party can not in any way hinder the success story of the APC in September 22 election in the state described their action as good radiance to bad rubbish.

Orolu local chairman described Ogbeni Aregbesola as an encyclopedia and compendium of Osun politics, adding that his unusual and transformational policies and programmes in science education , youth empowerment, food security, skill accusations, agriculture, health, rural development, security and other social infrastructure and many others have changed Osun from what it was to a new state.

“In a country where some leaders were looting state treasuries, Ogbeni is busy spending state resources to transform and give succour to the helpless and hopeless,” he added.

Addressing the mammort crowd, Governor Liason Officer (GLO) and APC Leader in Orolu, Alh Kilani Orisawale enjoined the entire people of Ifon as well as the state to go and collect their voter’s cards for them not to be disenfranchised in voting process.

Asking whether the mammort crowd was a rented one, Orisawale said that fire bridgade approach was even adopted to organize this rally as some APC members and supporters could not make it to the rally due to where they live interms of distance saying the crowd will be double if not triple when campaign fully started.

He said with Oyetola and BOA, Osun will continue to grow in developmental projects in all nooks and crannies of Osun. Orisawale, therefore assured APC of victory in Orolu as well as all the local government areas in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

House of Assembly Member, Hon Kamil Tope Oyedele opined that this is the pay back time as APC – led administration has done very well in all ramifications and every progressive-minded person must support the good work to continue and people of Orolu are fully prepared to vote for continuity of the APC government axpressing that come September 22,Alh Gboyega Oyetola will become the governor- elect.

The special adviser to the governor on Innovation, Science and Technology in Osun, hon Muydeen Olateju who also took part in the sensitisation rally said the rally was organized purposely to correct the misconception that people of Orolu have rejected APC and with this large turnout of APC members in Orolu alone, it means people of Osun are still supporting Ogbeni Aregbesola- led APC government.

While speaking, the former chairman, Orolu local government, Alh Raheed Ayoola Oyedele said with the unprecedented developmental projects in all nooks and crannies of Osun that turned the state to a developing state, no doubt that only enemies of development and progress will not support APC but every Progressive minded people of Osun would want the good government to continue so that people of Osun will continue experiencing more of developmental projects.

He advised people of Osun to support the candidature of Oyetola and said members of the APC have been armed with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) and they would give the APC candidate the needed support to win and become the governor elect come September 22
