Rasheed said “we have passed through the worst of governance dominated by reprehensible abandonment of human needs and aspirations.

He noted that the people of Osun have endured and suffered governmental insensitivity, reckless financial management of monumental proportion and fiscally stupid tactics and strategies and a failing reliance on falsehood as a weapon of governance.

His words: “2018 is a year of extra-ordinary decisions and electoral actions for our inhumanly treated people of Osun state. It is a year to reject agents of oppression and embrace forces of liberation”.

“We have passed through the worst of governance dominated by reprehensible abandonment of human needs and aspirations. We have endured and suffered governmental insensitivity, governance from the shadows, negative disruption of our social sector, reckless financial management of monumental proportion, fiscally stupid  tactics and strategies and a failing reliance on falsehood as a weapon of governance”.
The governorship aspirant submitted that the only way the residents of Osun State can be rid of falsehood is to face the hard choice of remaining in servitude or transit into a new era of sustainable governance of all facets of their lives.

MOR said positive societal change can be made possible and the most tyrannical forces and repressive clique crashes only when the will of the people reigns supreme saying “Osun is no exception to this”.

He therefore called on the people of the state to remove the veil and deploy their Permanent Voters Cards PVCs and electoral thumb to enthrone a truly pro-people government that places the people first.

According to him: “we are challenged to remain in servitude or transit into a new era of sustainable governance of all facets of our life” .

“We are called upon to remove the veil and deploy our PVC,our electoral thumb,to enthrone  a truly pro-people government, that places the people first”.

“I dare us to make 2018 a year of liberation for the sake of the  young ones and incoming generation”, he added.

“Positive societal change is possible thee most tyrannical forces eventually succumb to the will of the people;the most repressive clique crashes when the will of the people reigns supreme.Osun cannot be different”.

He however urged the people of the state never to lose sight of the goal-voting for a new governor unaffiliating to the subsisting rot.

“Reject all make up offers;they are poisonous. Take the hard road .If we have suffered for close to eight years ,let remain batle hardened till we vote out our oppressors in September”.

“I represent the forces of positive change .I long to serve as instrument of change.I believe new lease of life is possible. With a well thought out 5-point agenda,we can truly  govern from the people ,for the people and by the people as Governor of this great state”.

“Driving round Osun, you smell desperate desire for a new lease of life, for a change the change momentum .Every junction now has a commander. The people are determined to electorally terminate governance and leadership evil. We must keep that fire burning”.

“Let’s mobilise, lets sensitive, let deploy, let move in the new year to reward our oppressors with electoral defeat, in the new year, let’s become electoral militant”,he said.
