Ondo NUJ Chairman Sues For Credibility As Credentials Committee Inaugurated
The Chairman of the Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), James Sowole has charged the newly inaugurated Credentials Committee to organise a credible, free and fair election.
At the inauguration in Akure, Mr Sowole advised the members of the committee not to be influenced by side talks.
He said the committee was inaugurated according to the Union’s constitutional provisions, saying, all chapels are represented on the committee.
The NUJ chairman who was flanked by his Vice, Tona Aderoboye and the NUJ State Secretary Leke Adegbite, charged the members of the committed and be dedicated to the service.
Responding, The Chairman, NUJECO, Layo Babade who spoke on behalf of the committee members, promised to be committed to the service.
The inaugurated members are drawn from the eleven chapels in the state, Layo Babade from Local Government Information, Kunle Alonge from Federal Information,Wahaab Bankole from OSRC,Segun Giwa from Correspondents Chapel and Kayode Animasaun from FRCN who will serve as NUJECO Secretary.
Others include,Sunmola Olowookere from Owena Press, Ajibola Anifowose from NTA, Eniola Oluwole from State Information, Patience Ibeh from Adaba FM, Tomi Emiola from Federated Chapel and Bolanle Osakuade from NOA.
