Muslim Cleric Calls For Unity, Peace As Nigerians Celebrate Eid-el-Kabir

The Chief Imam, Ayatulah Islamic Organization Eripa, Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun, Sheik Tajudeen Ayatulah, has enjoined Muslim faithful to use the Eidel-Kabir festival to show love, kindness and peace as exemplified by prophet Ibraheem.
Ayatulah disclosed this in an interview with the CityMirrorNews correspondent on Thursday in Eripa.
He urged Muslim faithful to use the eidel kabir celebration period to pray for Nigeria especially in the present economic realities which had threatened the unity and progress of the country.
” I believe fellow Muslims will use the eidel kabir festival to pray for the unity and progress of this country “, he said.
The cleric also enjoined faithfuls to reflect on the teaching of prophet Ibraheem which would go along way in curbing all sort of negative vices among faithful.
According to him, Muslims must remain steadfast and be guided by lessons exemplified by Prophet Ibraheem to sacrifice his son in accordance to the will of Allah.
