Lagos Police Nab 42 Homosexuals
The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police has arrested a total of 42 homosexuals.
The suspects were apprehended during a raid at Vincent Hotel at Weigh Bridge in Owode Onirin in Lagos.
A sting operation led to the arrest of the men on Saturday.
Operatives had gathered that individuals involved in homosexual activities usually gather at the location.
Based of the information, Police personnel stormed the hotel.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the operation.
He added that the arrested suspects have been handed over to the state task force for prosecution.
The hotel has also been sealed as investigation commences.
