Stakeholders, Personalties, Sports Men And Women Await Honours At Osun SWAN Award

The final touches are being put on at the Atlantis Civic Event Centre in Osogbo, where on Sunday Afternoon at 2pm, the 2017 Edition of the Osun SWAN Sports Merit Awards will be the centre of attention.

Attendance has been confirmed from high profile sports personalities across the state and beyond as well as lovers of sports from across the country.

This prestigious award is aimed at celebrating those who have rendered outstanding meritorious services to the development of sports in the country and beyond

Some of the recipients of this prestigious awards includes Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, Hon. Ayo Omidiran, Ademola Adeshina, Hon. Biyi Odunlade, Samson Unuanel, Akin Alabi, Sen. Babajide Omoworare, Aderonke Ogunbanwo Ajibola, Babjide Bewaji, Dr. Kayode Oduoye and a host of others will be celebrated on that day.

The highpoint of the evening will be the investiture of the “Osun Swan Pillar of Sports” on the former Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, for his long term meritorious services to the development of sports in the state and beyond.

The evening promises to be a stylish and high profile affair as we welcome a host of personalities who have created a sporting pathway and contributed immensely to the growth of the Nation through sports and other means.

Notable personalities expected to grace the grand events includes the Royal Father of the day, the Ooni of Ife, HRM, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Royal Grand Patron of Osun SWAN), NFF President, Seyi Akinwumi, Aisha Falode. Others are the Royal Host, the Ataoja of Osogbo, HRM, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, Chairman of the Occasion is the Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Najeem Salaam (Patron of Osun SWAN).
