BREAKING: Melaye Enters Senate Chamber In Academic Gown
Fresh from the certificate forgery allegation against him, Dino Daniel Jonah Melaye, on Tuesday, made an entry into the Senate chamber, wearing an academic gown.
Melaye, who faced the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, on Monday, may have done so to ridicule his critics, who claim that he did not graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State.
Melaye, who arrived the Red Chamber around 10:30 a.m., moved from one seat to the other to greet his colleagues in the hallowed chamber.
It would be recalled that the Vice Chancellor of ABU, Professor Ibrahim Garba, on Monday, cleared Melaye before the Sam Anyanwu-led Committee.
Garba, who said that Melaye actually graduated from the Geography Department of ABU, added that Melaye graduated from the Institution with a 3rd class division.
