Osun West APC Chieftains Declare Support for Aregbesola on 2018 Gov election
Chieftains and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun West Senatorial District have declared support for Governor Rauf Aregbesola on the 2018 governorship election in the state.
The APC chieftains among which were Secretary to the Osun State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Elder Peter Babalola, APC Secretary, Alhaji Rasaq Salinsile, stated they shall support Aregbesola for the 2018 election.
This is coming against the outburst of a chieftain of the APC, Alhaji Fatai Diekola who declared war on Aregbesola on the governorship election and threatened to chase him back to Lagos.
Addressing members of the APC at a senatorial meeting on Sunday, the APC chieftains dissociated themselves from any conspiracy against the governor, saying that they were in good term with Aregbesola.
Adeoti, a governorship aspirant, while speaking at the meeting stated that he is pro Aregbesola and he could not fight the governor.
In a 2:39 minutes watched by CityMirrorNews, Babalola, popularly called ‘Peter Action’ said: “I greet you all our leaders, something came up, some gluttonous leaders, those who milked Aregbesola dry are now castigating Aregbesola. We in the Osun West Senatorial District have decided that we are going with Aregbesola.
“We are not going with unfortunate people. I am happy Senator Adeleke is here. An indiscpline person said Adeleke is his friend; don’t mind him, Adeleke is not his friend, Adeleke is not part of their conspiracy. None of us in the west is part of their evil plot. If you are talking about an individual who benefitted from Aregbesola, that man is the person. We shall talk to their senses.”
