How Reckless Driver Crushes FRSC Officer To Death In Akure

It was a sad moment at the command of the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC, Ondo State at the weekend as one officer, Seinde Abolusoro crushed to death by a reckless driver in Akure.
It was gathered that the late officer Abolusoro though said to be on duty was standing by the roadside at the FUTA North gate axis when he met his untimely death at some minutes past 10 Saturday morning.
The driver of the car identified as Sola Olagunju was driving from Ilesa to Akure claimed to be trying to avoid a parked articulated truck, and veered off to hit the FRSC officer standing by the roadside.
However, authorities of the FRSC in the state declined to comment on the sad incident.
But the spokesman of the Ondo police command, Femi Joseph confirmed the incident, describing it as a sad one.
He said the suspect is already in their custody while investigation is ongoing to determine whether or not he would be charged to court.
The late Abolusoro said to be in his late 30s had a boy and girl from his 6 years old marriage.
He is a native of Omuo Ekiti and had barely spent six years on the job.
