Group Lauds Aregbesola’s Commitment to Cultural Activities

The Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been commended for creating job opportunities for the youths as well as promoting cultural and traditional activities in the state.

The Leader of the All Works of Life Development Organisation (AWOL Group), Amb. Nurudeen J.K. Ogunlade made this commendation over the weekend in a media chat to herald Launching of Nigeria-Belize Expo 2017.

Ogunlade, said among all other states in Nigeria, Osun State government is the only state that is creating a conducive environment for the youths across the state by generating employment opportunity for them.

“The O’Yes policy of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola towards the upliftment of youths cannot be over emphasised among other developmental and physical policies in the state”, he emphasised.

The AWOL Leader who described the mission of the organization as to accurately showcase and uplift the vision of the social economic and popular movement of Osun State and Federal Republic of Nigerian Culture stated the dreams and vision which include, world peace, environmental harmony, respect, free expression and appreciation for native culture and expansion of human consciousness among others.

The Theme for the Belize Expo 2017 according to Ogunlade is “Linking Global Partners for Social, Cultural, Economic / Women Empowerment Opportunities in Belize / Nigeria with Special Focus on Osun State” which would hold between 24th April to 5th May, 2017 respectively.

His words, “Our mission is to link Global partner in Social, Cultural, Education and Economic opportunity to develop Osun State among our women in different creativities which is tagged ” Osun State Vision 2020 Women Empowerment Chapter (1).
“The major concept of the idea was to empower about 5,300 women in Bead Jewelry, Tie/Dye Batik and all works of life to meet international standard markets”.

Ogunlade said further, ” Participants were given Participation Certificate in our first chapter and 20 women among the 300 trainee had been selected to travel abroad for Trade and Business Expo Exhibition to represent Osun and the trip would enable them to showcase made in Nigeria products.

Official invitation has been sent to us from Belize Investment Funds to establish Trade Expo and network between Nigeria and Central America”.

“I want to say again that, Nigeria-Belize Expo 2017 is expected to promote Art/Craft which would prepare the next generation of Osun State in leaders and entrepreneurs that will assist in fueling Nigeria rise for the upcoming generation.
