Ilori  stated this on Wednesday while presenting Mr Wale Alabi as the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Regional Integration.

He said the administration of Governor Rauf  Aregbesola in collaboration with other governments in the Southwest is working assiduously to foster peace and harmony through societal Integration.

This accordingly to him  requires right orientation and constant interactions among the youth for positive socio-economic impact.

“We are looking at a generation where people would be able to collaborate beyond boundaries, we are concerned about the future of our race and we want our youths to be productive and active in the affairs of the government.

“We are working  towards encouraging youths participation in the affairs of the Government and to enlighten the youths on Regional Integration.

Speaking on the achievements of governor Rauf Aregbesola within the last seven years, the Commissioner said Osun is rated second with the least poverty rate according to the United Nations statistics.

Ilori further explained that although the resources of the state are limited, the state Government under the leadership of Aregbesola has done well in making the state a better place.

In his remarks, the new SSA,  Mr Wale Alabi promised to live up to expectation by ensuring the gospel  of orientation on regional integration gets to the grassroots.
