Breaking: Senator Adeleke Family Speaks on His Death, Fails to Acknowledge Aregbesola
The family of late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke has spoken on the death of their lovely son, husband, brother and sibling, who died on Sunday morning.
Led by Dr Deji Adeleke, who is the younger brother to the deceased, the family said their brother was not sick, describing his death as a rude shock.
While appreciating President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for the condolence visit, the Adeleke family failed to mention Governor Rauf Aregbesolo’s name, nor acknowledge his message.
The family did not also mention the name of any of the state official of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who attended the burial programme of the late Adeleke.
Dr Deji said: Our brother was a Muslim as you all know but we have to delay his burial till the day so as to conduct postmortem test and the doctor said one to two weeks before the result is out contrary to what is being speculated on the social media.
“The death of our brother was a rude shock, we could not believe our brother has gone because he was healthy and strong. He was not sick. We want to appeal to the people outside there to stop carrying speculations. Nobody can determine the causes of the death yet until autopsy result is out.”
“We have cried and cried, we cannot query God. However, we want to mourn our late brother in peace and not violence.”
Dr Deji pointed out that the late Adeleke was an hero in the House and his community.
“The pains of his death will take a very long time before it can be healed in our heart. However, his death is a painful one and family still dreaming whether he is alive or not.
“We appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari, the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governors Ibikunle Amosun, Ayodele Fayose, Rotimi Akeredolu, former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the entire people of Nigeria and Osun State for their sympathy and feeling they share over the death of brother”, he said.
