My New Album ‘Oleku’ is Designed to Promote Yoruba Culture-Artist
Youths have been urged to shun vices and rely more on their natural abilities for survival, rather than skills acquire in the classrooms.
This observation was made yesterday by an upcoming Artist Akinkunmi Babasanya Awwal, a.k.a “Package” while answering questions from journalists on his new Album titled “Oleku”.
Awwal, said, youths should not be discouraged about what is happening in the society presently, they should have faith in God and they can be anything tomorrow provided they plan their today wisely and implement their plans painstakingly.
The up coming artist lamented the issue of unemployment which has been a major problem challenging the lives of the Nigerian youths saying youths should wake up from their slumber and think of what next after the lecture room”.
He further called on government to encourage youths to maximize their potential to the fullness to make them become relevant citizen in their future.
Awwal, who enjoined the three tiers of governments to invest in the development of every youth in their respective areas, said it is an avenue of showcasing them to the entire world.
He charged youths to shun any act of violence now that electioneering period is approaching in the country, saying they should make themselves professional by making use of their God given talent.
Speaking on his new album “Oleku”, Awwal, said the album which was designed to admire the tradition and culture of Yoruba’s is already on the hit while some radio and television stations have been playing it for the enjoyment of their listeners.
According to Ikire in Irewole local government area of Osun State born Artist, ” the Oleku Album which is waxing stronger in the market all over the Country is produced both in Audio and Video for the benefit of the people in the country and those in diaspora”.
