Olagoke who is also the  Ajagun Esin Consultative Forum (AECF)also pleaded with Christian’s and Moslems who are stake holders in this administration to prevail on the  President,Alhaji  Muhammadu Buhari to do whatever was humanly. possible to holistically put an end to the perennial fuel scarcity plaguing the country.

His message was contained in a press statement issued from the International  Head Quarters of Shafaudeen In  Islam World wide Wakajaye Ibadan,Oyo state on the occasion of Christmas celebration.

The renowned Islamic Cleric pointed out that record shows that Jesus Christ was an embodiment of humility, love, tolerance, piety and other virtues pointing out that anybody whose lives differ from these attributes would lose his  eternity.

He stressed that the celebration was not for drinking and merry making alone but to  move closer to God and refrain from sins like adultery, murder, idolatry, tyranny adding that no religion promotes these vices which were repugnant to God Almighty.

Olagoke who is the author of “Unwarranted controversies” said Jesus Christ has laid down an exemplary life style when he said” My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work” adding all believers should ensure they pattern their lives in the way pleasing to their creator.

Olagoke called on religious leaders in Islam and Christianity to live by the teaching’s which they were imparting on their followers stressing that they would be held accountable by God if they were teaching their followers different things and living otherwise.

He expressed disappointment by the observable conduct of many Clerics who because of their  personal gains were shying away from teaching their followers the modest and patriotic ways of life.

Olagoke called on President Buhari to save  his name and reputation adding that all is not well with the masses who voted him into power with high hope of making their lives hardship free but t”the reverse seems to be the case with fuel scarcity and unpaid salaries to workers and pensioners. It is only his intervention that would restore hope to the frustrated citizens who are being denied of their rights by their local leaders”

He was optimistic that the prayers of the faithful during the Christmas and new year would bring back a better Nigeria.
